The cottages lie in the beautiful Stock Valley, just over a mile from Ambleside centre. The Falls and Nature Park are at the bottom of our lane. Above is the Kirkstone Pass - below is Lake Windermere, which can be seen and visited from the farm. Loughrigg, Old Man of Coniston and The Langdales can be viewed from your windows. Ambleside is a thriving village with a variety of shops and places to eat, making your holiday carefree! Watersports, riding, ballooning, climbing and fishing are close by and if there is any energy left - there are plenty of things to do or see on our estate. We have a pedigree Galloway herd of which we are quite proud and Cheviot ewes on our 200 acres. We are delighted to answer questions about the countryside and hill farming, welcoming childrens interests hoping that everyone knows a little more about our way of life when they leave.
Little Grove	This beautiful cottage for 2 is extremely popular with our visitors returning year after year and throughout the seasons.
Middle Grove	Our first creation completed in 1993, and was converted with great care, as our other cottages,to preserve the wonderful atmosphere that this beautiful traditional Lakeland barn possesses,extremely comfortable for 4 people, again with many of our families returning year after year.
High Grove	Our larger cottage which sleeps 6 built (as our other cottages) by local craftsmen to a very high standard, tremendous care having been taken with every aspect, for you to enjoy one of the highest quality cottages in the lake district.
Grove Corner	Our new cottage is called 'Grove Corner' which accommodates 2+ people. We are very pleased with the 5 Star Quality which our local craftsmen have achieved. As this cottage is just completed we have not yet added any images for you to see.
