Default Re: University of Cumbria Ambleside Campus - update

How was has it come about that the "new" minister has the power to lift the cap and no other even thought about it??

Looks like there will be 1000 new students with no support network of a "university" to come to or Lancaster and Carlisle will have to expand.

All credit to Tim, even after the decision has been made and most of the campus is closing, he is still fighting!

To make money the University needs:
A management structure that know's what its doing
Running Ambleside in the same way St Martin's was run, under the umbrella of another University
Sell Kelsick
Involve another academic source, e.g. Kendal College, to create a Campus of Excellence in education, vocation and training.

We shall have to see what happens but it looks like change is in the wind
